What is in the catalogue

Seven items, all made for the taphole

Each line below is produced in our own workshop in Tai’an, so the interface between two parts is our problem, not yours.

Cross and three-wing bits — Shandong FeitengDrill bits

Cross and three-wing bits

Brazed YG8 tips, Ø28–120 mm, flushing hole sized to your clay. Made to your machine’s shank, not to a catalogue number.

Bit range →

Button drill bits — Shandong FeitengButton bits

Button drill bits

Spherical carbide buttons, regrindable in your workshop — the practical choice in abrasive clay where a cross bit seats too fast.

Button bit details →

Drill rods with thread — Shandong FeitengDrill rods

Drill rods with thread

32/38 mm body, T38, R38, T32 or R32, quenched and tempered end to end, thread cut and gauged in-house.

Rod material guide →

Carbide drill bits — Shandong FeitengCarbide

Carbide drill bits

Tungsten carbide inserts vacuum-brazed and ground to the wing profile, so the bit holds gauge instead of polishing the hole undersize.

How the tip is set →

Shank adapters — Shandong FeitengShank

Shank adapters

Hex shanks and striking bars matched to your drill chuck and to the rod thread you already run.

Match a drawing →

Coupling sleeves — Shandong FeitengCoupling

Coupling sleeves

Full-length threaded sleeves with the wall thickness and engagement that keep joints true after repeated make-and-break.

Joint practice →

Complete matched sets — Shandong FeitengSets

Complete matched sets

Bit, rod, shank adapter and coupling sleeve quoted, checked and packed as one drilling set for a single machine.

How an order runs

From your conditions to a crate on the floor

We do not quote a bit on its own. Tell us the taphole diameter, rod length, thread and clay, and the quote covers the parts that have to fit together.

  • Conditions first — diameter, length, thread, tapping frequency, clay condition.
  • Drawing or sample — a photo of the worn part is usually enough to match a thread or a hex.
  • Batch record — hardness and straightness recorded per batch and shipped with the crate.

Send the conditions →

1

Tell us the machine

Chuck type, rod thread, taphole diameter and the length you run today. A photo of the worn part saves a drawing.

2

We propose the set

Bit style, rod body, shank adapter and coupling, with the interfaces matched and the batch lead time stated.

3

Production and packing

Machining, brazing, thread gauging, then wooden case or steel-strapped bundle, with the batch record inside.

Buyer questions

Ordering practicalities

Can I order a single set to test?

Yes. A trial set of bit, rod, shank adapter and coupling is the usual way a new customer starts, and it is quoted together with the production batch price so you can compare.

Do you make non-standard threads and lengths?

We do. Send the drawing, or the worn part itself, and we cut to it. If only one element is non-standard, we keep the rest of the set standard so spares stay available.

What is the lead time?

It depends on the batch and on whether the thread is standard for us. The lead time is stated in the offer, together with the packing method, so there is no separate surprise at shipment.

How are the parts packed?

Bits in wooden cases, rods in steel-strapped bundles, small parts wrapped and boxed. Mixed sets are packed as one crate with a packing list that matches the batch record.

Next step

Tell us what your taphole drill runs today

Diameter, rod length, thread type and clay condition. We reply with the matched bit, rod, shank adapter and coupling sleeve combination, and the batch lead time.
